Contacts is your customer list. Segments let you target a group in campaigns and sequences.
Step 1 of 6
Add a contact
Contacts → All contacts → New contact. Email or phone is required. If someone already has that email or phone, that contact is used and no duplicate is created.

Marketing consent
Campaigns only reach contacts who opted in. If your CSV has no consent column, those contacts have none and will not receive WhatsApp campaigns. Record a yes only when the person gave it.
